Thomas Jordan Gallery Birthday Happiness. "I just love these."-- Hey Tom, Shawn, Nick and myself have been friends for almost 45 years and all are celebrating our 50th birthdays this year. I wanted to get them something meaningful and unique for our special birthday. Your paintings represent a special time, favorite team and/or a favorite hobby in a unique way. My buddy Shawn is an avid golfer and I knew he would love the golf ball painting with many of the bucket list golf courses that we all want to play. And Nick is a diehard Buckeye fan as am I so the Buckeye painting was perfect for him. Now what would be perfect for all three of us is an All Cleveland Sports painting that highlights the World Champion Cavs, Browns and Indians. So we are waiting patiently for this Tom….Hint Hint😀Bob and Lori Smeby, Classic Movies

Tom painted the perfect picture to capture the history and tradition in which I grew up, immersed. LOVE IT!!!" - CollinEvan Dion, Camp Kalmus Fish Camp Chair - Texas A&M
Fish Camp, the nation's largest student-run collegiate orientation program, is centered around teaching the incoming class the traditions and values of Texas A&M University. The freshman are grouped into "camps" of about 120 people, and a former alumni is given the honor of being the "namesake" for one of these groups. Throughout their time at camp, the freshman engage in a number of activities put on by the counselors and namesakes to help them make friends and learn about life in Aggieland.
The artwork that Tom created is a phenomenal visual of some of the traditions and values of A&M that we teach at Fish Camp, so we ordered this commission as a way to thank Mrs. Kalmus and our counselors for embodying what it means to be an Aggie!

Thomas Jordan Gallery Fan Jen Peace recently sent in the following picture and story. My first encounter with Thomas's art was working at the Denton Arts & Jazz Festival on the Visual Arts team. I enjoyed getting to know him and "booth sitting" when he needed to step away for brief moments. The moment I saw his Playbill, Classic Musicals compilation I fell in love. Years later when my best friend's son wanted something "meaningful that will last...not just something that will be fun for a short time" for his 10th birthday, I knew he would LOVE this framed print. I've enjoyed getting to bond with Conner over our mutual love of performing, and I'm glad that his mother is familiar with the world of cheer, which is my youngest's passion and something I know nothing about. It really takes a village to raise these kids. Thank you Thomas for helping me give Conner something that will last! See you at Arts & Jazz 2021! -- See you there, Jen!Broadway Theatre League, Playbill, Classic Musicals
Thomas Jordan Gallery Fan Cindy, along with other members of the Broadway Theatre League sent in the following pictures and story after presenting this Playbill, Classic Musicals print to Brian. Your painting was very much appreciated by all of the board members, especially Brian. The story: Broadway Theatre league was founded 60 years ago by Anita Boorda. We were an all volunteer board. Our mission was to bring Broadway shows to South Bend. We also focused on educating and supporting youth in performing arts careers. Under Brian's Leadership we were able to create a generous endowment to provide scholarships to area students. This is our legacy. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were forced to dissolve our non profit organization. What you saw was our last meeting. I'm sure Brian feels the same way I did when I looked at your painting....the memories of all the shows came flooding back. All the laughter, the tears, and the passion are all wrapped up in one perfect picture. Thank you again for bringing joy to us through your art.Teja, Jerod (Husband) Henry (dog), Classic Video Games

Thomas Jordan Gallery fan Robert Bastarache visited my tent at GrapeFest this past September and ended up making a special purchase. "I happened upon Tom's booth and because I'm a sports fan, I was immediately drawn into looking through the paintings. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted an Oklahoma State University painting. My oldest son recently graduated from Oklahoma State University so I knew I had to get it for him as a Christmas present. I did not want to buy it right then because I knew I had a long day ahead of me and nowhere to store the print. Tom was very personable and really took interest in my story about my son graduating from OSU and becoming a baseball and football coach his very year out of college. Tom gave me his card and told me to call him when I was ready. Talking with Tom over the phone and follow-up email/text correspondence was so easy and helpful! Tom shipped the painting to me the very day we talked on the phone even before I sent the check to him. Now that's customer service! My son was ecstatic about receiving this painting for Christmas and couldn't stop looking at it. He said ""Dad, Tom must have put a lot of effort into researching OSU because you aren't going to come up with all the detail in this paining without knowing about OSU and its history and tradition."" Here's a fun story from Thomas Jordan Gallery customer, Matt Schuda. We are Philadelphia Eagles Fans from South Jersey and moved to Frisco, TX in 2015. We met you at the Wildflower show in Richardson, TX earlier this year when we saw the, not yet completed Eagles painting. We spoke for a bit and you shared the stories behind it. Anyway, I was so excited and wanted a Philadelphia Eagles Tribute print. Afterwards, I Facebook messaged you and never heard back. Unbeknownst to me, my wife Dawn Marie, had also messaged you and told you to ignore me if I reach out to you. You and she made arrangements and she had purchased the framed prints. At McKinney Oktoberfest, she managed to keep me away from your booth. Unfortunately she was unable to do the same when we visited Arts in the Square for the Christmas fair. Jesse & Yolanda Reyes from Plano, TX purchased this Alabama Tribute painting for their son-in-law during Thanksgiving weekend when they met me in downtown McKinney. This is a picture of their son-in-law Trey with the painting and they provided a short and very interesting history with the picture. This painting was a birthday present for Trey Waldrep, a 2010 graduate of the University of Alabama and son of Kent Waldrep. In 1974, Kent was a football player for Texas Christian University when he was paralyzed in a game against the University of Alabama. Legendary Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant took special interest in Kent. In 1973, Bryant established an endowed scholarship fund that benefited the children of his former players. In 2006, Trey received the Bryant Scholarship to attend the University of Alabama. It was the first time the child of a Tide opponent had received the scholarship. Trey, Kent, and his brother, Charley were extremely impressed with the painting. Trey just cannot stop talking about it.
An amazing story for sure. I am so very glad you all enjoy the painting. Thanks Again. -- Tom

From very happy Vikings Fans Sallie & Jeff Fortney. "We want to thank you both for inviting us into your home, especially on a Friday night around 9:00, and giving us a tour of your gallery and special treasures. We loved being up close, and so many to see. Like Karen said, almost everyone has a favorite team, and you represented a lot of them. I am enjoying my painting and showing pictures of it to other fans...even the "non-viking" ones. My phone, of course, doesn't do it justice, but I tell them about it...the detail and the research you put into each painting. Jeff hung my painting and framed the roster so that I could be reminded of who is who. With each game and each win, we are getting more excited about our trip to the new stadium. We will send you some pictures of the stadium, if we take any good ones."Thanks again, Sallie & Jeff Fortney
