On The Easel Gallery progression paintings show multiple images of the artists process from beginning sketch work to the finished oil on canvas composition.
Tom has completed work on a great new commissioned tribute to singer/song writer Eric Church. Focusing mainly on sports and entertainment subjects, this is Tom's first time painting a tribute to a musical artist. A combination of the persistence of a huge Eric Church fan and the additional time made available by the pandemic situation has created an opportunity to branch out and try new things. The goal here was to take the client's identified albums and songs, and translate them into a visual story. Hopefully, the result reflects the love this Eric Church fan has for this incredible singer/song writer. See if you think it captures on canvas the deep, meaningful feelings the lyrics of these songs induce.
